Hello, and welcome in to the latest edition of Yankee Candle Reviews here on SoBros Network. I will be your host – the Fragrance Aficionado of SoBros Network, also the EIC, Stoney Keeley. My passion for Yankee Candle began in 2006, when I strolled into the location in Providence Marketplace in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. I picked up a jar of Autumn Woods, and found it captured the essence of the season perfectly. I’ve been hooked in this…well, you could even call it ‘romantic…’ relationship with Yankee Candle ever since. Today, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the smooth, sweet fragrance, Vineyard.

With the twilight of summer setting in, I always like to burn something a little different to wind down the season. The fresh beachy fragrances have had their day in the sun, and now it’s time to move past the coconut and the pina colada types and transition to the more warm, comforting fragrances that will eventually give way to the pumpkins and apples of fall. That’s why I think Vineyard is that candle because it makes for such a sweet, sweet transition scent.

I love Vineyard – it’s easily a top 20 candle in the game. There’s something that’s inherently rich, soft, and fruity. It’s a grape fragrance, sure, but it’s not overwhelming tart like the more vibrant fruit scents of the season. It’s more velvety and deep, sweet and poetic, like a glass of your favorite wine…which…if you didn’t know, is exactly what is made at a vineyard. How about that? It reminds me of an afternoon spent baking away in the sun, drinking more wine in that afternoon than I’ll probably drink the rest of the year combined. It smells like “I’m going to vomit if I don’t slow down.”

Recommended Burning: After you just got home from a long day at the vineyard during which you got blackout drunk and they basically had to revive your corpse and now you’re just trying to chill in the recliner with a nice room temperature glass of water to revitalize your internal organs.
