This week, I’ll be taking a look back at some of our best episodes on each of the SoBros Network podcasts. Up first, we’re diving into the various actor and filmmaker profiles that we’ve done on The Vick’s Flicks Podcast in 2022. It’s been a hell of a year here on The Vick’s Flicks Podcast, and between our resident film critic, Brandon Vick, a couple of SoBros guests, and myself, we’ve put together quite the collection of podcasts over the course of the year. Let’s dive in.

THE VICK’S FLICKS PODCAST, 2022: ACTORS AND FILMMAKERS

Sandra Bullocklink – Bullock was back in the fun and lighthearted flick, The Lost City, back in the spring. That was our excuse to dive into her filmography as one of the biggest draws at the movies.

Nicolas Cagelink – Cage has quite the interesting filmography, for better or for worse, as he’s taken quite an interesting path to achieving a different sort of cult fame beyond the box office draw that he was back years ago.

Baz Luhrmann link – Luhrmann definitely has a certain flair when it comes to his movies, and Elvis was no different. Sean Atkins and Steven McCash joined Brandon on this one to talk Elvis and relive Luhrmann’s filmography.

Javier Bardemlink – We’ve made it to the end of the year, and I’ll tell y’all what…Bardem’s performance in The Good Boss is still one of my favorites of the year. That had us reliving his greatest roles on the podcast back in September.

Sam Rockwelllink – Ever charismatic, Rockwell feels like one of the most underrated guys in Hollywood. He’s always reliable, and has a few scene-stealers on his resumé too. Brandon, Sean, and I sat down and recorded this one on the 2022 SoBros Network Content Retreat.

The Farrelly Brotherslink – Peter Farrelly has taken quite the career turn in recent years, but those early years of Farrelly Brothers comedies yielded some of the funniest movies I can remember to this day.

Colin Farrell – link – The Banshees of Inisherin dropped about a month and a half ago, and with it just may come Farrell’s first Oscar nomination. Brandon and I discussed his filmography, which is littered with underrated performances, on this episode.
