With the summer kicking off, the annual Offseason Content plan is in effect for 2024. Fret not – we’ll be back talkin’ current Titans in July, and you can still catch me on Football & Other F Words every Wednesday, but this is mine and Owen’s chance to take our feet off the gas for a few weeks. This year, we’re kicking things off with a look at another of the Titans most heated rivals, the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is the first AFC South rivalry we’ve covered in Offseason Content, but in my opinion, it’s the most personal. It just feels more intense than the other AFC South rivals – it doesn’t matter if these teams are actually good or not. The fan bases are still getting riled up. Owen and I look back to the early days of the Jags franchise and how the Titans were trying to find their footing in Nashville around the same time. We look at some of the great players in this rivalry, the complementary styles they’ve played, and some of the key moments in the rivalry’s history.
