OTAs have wrapped and we’re entering the DEAD dead period of the football calendar. On this week’s Football & Other F Words, Zach and I put a bow on the offseason team activities, talking about our favorite nuggets from the last media availability for a little bit. We’re both fans of the joint practices that will take place in Nashville between the Titans and the Seattle Seahawks. We both picked up on Bill Callahan saying they were cross-training all of the guards on how to play center. And, we both loved every little nugget we could get about JC Latham.
Then, we dive deep into the offensive line talk. Both of us are high on the depth of this group, and while I think they’re still an injury away from having to rely on thus-far-unproven talent, I think they’ve done as admirable a job as you could’ve expected in completely revamping this unit ahead of the 2024 season. We explain why we think Lloyd Cushenberry has All-Pro potential as a center, how Peter Skoronski figures to develop in Year 2, why Saahdiq Charles may have more of a stranglehold on a roster spot than we think, and of course, we can’t go a week without weighing in on the right tackle race. John Ojukwu hive, it’s our time to shine. There are a few strays directed at the Elijah Molden haters near the end, but by and large, this is an offensive-centric episode to send you into the real dry spell of the offseason.
