If you’ve ever seen the “guys can sit around and name old football players” meme, I’m about to one up it with a “guy can actually get choked up talking about old football players” podcast. I can’t help it. I get emotional talking about my favorite players sometimes. This week, Offseason Content rolls on here on The Unofficial Titans Podcast with a look back at what I would call one of the more underrated running backs in this franchise’s storied history at the position. The head man at Stacking The Inbox, Zach Lyons, hopped on the line to relive the career of LenDale White with me. In this show, we go back to his USC days, including the big play in the Rose Bowl against Texas that greatly impacted White’s career. We talk about the prime year of Smash n’ Dash alongside Chris Johnson, and yeah, I get a little emotional when we start talking about how that friendship developed and withstood through to today. I’m not a jersey guy at all – I have one Titans jersey to my name, and it’s a LenDale White one. This is an episode I’ve been wanting to do for the last couple of offseasons. We finally make time for it today!
