The Atlanta Falcons decided they were going to unveil some new threads for the 2020 season. I don’t know if this whole quarantine just has everyone in a panic, trying to come up with some fresh content to keep people entertained or what. But, this one seems completely out of the blue. Check out the new Falcons uniforms and decide for yourselves:

At least they’re new. I mean, it ain’t like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers saying they’re going to unveil some new uniforms when they’re actually just going back to the jerseys they wore throughout the 2000s. Side note: am I actually in the minority that thinks those Bucs unis of the last few years are actually fire?
Anyway, I can’t say I’m too impressed. I like the red and black gradient version….but there’s still apart of me that’s just shaking my head at these.
Why? Because the Falcons have had one of the best uniforms in the game for D E C A D E S. There was nothing quite like those slick black jerseys with the red popping. They were the Corvettes of NFL uniforms. In other words, there was absolutely no reason at all for the Falcons to change things up.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
We keep getting new unis, and still no update on the vintage Seahawks uniforms. You guys in the NFL need to get your priorities straight. I see you trying to keep the uni game going, but let’s get some classic throwbacks in the mix too.
