It’s hard to believe that another year has passed. I know I say it every year, but man, time marches on. This is always my favorite time of the year for a myriad of reasons. But, chief among them is that it seems to be when we, as a team, put out our most creative stuff. I don’t know why. I don’t know if we’re all just getting in on the festivities and bringing our A game or what. But, every year, I grow more and more intrigued by how this team puts out Spooky Season content, and how we seem to find a way to top the year before. So, without further ado, let’s hit this year’s recap of more fun and unique SoBros Network Halloween coverage. We started things off with a festive edition of the SoBros Hot Minute on which I rank the greatest Halloween candies of all time!
- Brittany kicked us off with a knockout list of things to do in the Nashville area this Spooky Season. It might be too late to fit them all in, but if you’re looking for something last minute, this is still a good piece to check out.
- Brittany, Jesse, and I ate a bunch of different pumpkin-flavored stuff.
- I watched 1994’s Wolf for the first time, and wrote about how bat shit crazy this Jack Nicholson werewolf flick is over on Patreon.
- Brittany also offered up some A+ suggestions on alternatives for candy during trick or treating.
- I saw Spirit Halloween: The Movie as apart of this year’s Nashville Film Festival and wrote a review of it!
- Jesse and I dove into WCW’s Halloween Havoc from 1998 on the premiere episode of Wrestling With The Past over on the SoBros Patreon.
- I wrote another short story to add to the grand catalog of SoBros Short Fiction that is a little bit spooky – it’s called Home in the Hills.
- Steven McCash wrote a full review of The Retaliators.
- He also wrote a list of 31 foreign horror films to watch this Spooky Season. It might be too late to get through all 31 at this point in the season, but hey – you might find a good place to start for next year!
- A few of us got together and did one of the ghost tours at The Hermitage, and I wrote about the experience.
- Brittany also interviewed a rep from Terror on the Ridge and got some insight on the fabled home haunt in the area.
- If you’re looking to cook somethin’ up this weekend, try one of my favorite fall recipes.
