Quarantine Jams, Vol. 39: The Award for Best Actor as a Musician Goes To….

Athletes want to be rock stars and rock stars dream of being an athlete. The same goes with actors as well. Many of them have dipped their toes in the music business, while some of those have flat out dived in head first.

Not all attempts raced up the Billboard charts. For every Jamie Foxx, there’s a Corey Feldman. Some actors have become recognized more for their music than acting roles. Hillary Duff is one I remember more for her pop hits than I do for Lizzie McGuire.

Some have even kept their attempts on the low-low. Who here knew that Micheal Cera and Steven Seagal have both made records? Those of a certain age definitely remember the lukewarm received attempts by Bruce Willis, Don Johnson, and Eddie Murphy, but might be surprised to hear Scott Baio, Burt Reynolds, and Toni Collette have albums in the bargain bin.
