The 2020 NFL Draft is in the books after a unique three days spent looking into the homes of coaches and GMs across the league. We decided to get together for this piece, hashing out some of our favorite picks from all seven rounds. LFG!

Our Favorite Picks from the 2020 NFL Draft

Philadelphia: Jalen Hurts – “Hurts is coming into the league with the same chip on his shoulder we saw last year at Oklahoma. He can learn behind Carson Wentz, but you know the Eagles are gonna get this man on the field sooner rather than later because of his athleticism.” -John Mosley

“I’d like to expand upon what Mose said here because I agree. This is an awesome fit for Hurts…but it’s also a tremendous value for the Eagles. Howie Roseman said during the draft that they want to be quarterback developers in Philadelphia. They like the idea of constantly developing guys behind Wentz. In this case, you can help a guy develop as a quarterback, and maybe on down the line you get a draft pick for him in a trade. Worst case scenario, you have a supremely talented prospect with a championship character that can take over in the event of a Wentz injury/regression. Smart move.” -Stoney Keeley

Buffalo: AJ Epenesa – “I loved Epenesa as a prospect. The guy can bully people around. But, I thought he needed to go to the right situation. Buffalo could not be more perfect for the guy. They value their guys in the trenches and will allow Epenesa to do what he does best. The fact that he was available in Round 2 was a surprise to me. The Bills basically got a first rounder in the second.” -Stoney Keeley

Chicago: Jaylon Johnson – “Lockdown style corner to put on the field with the pass rush of Khalil Mack. Johnson will bring day one physicality to this secondary.” – John Mosley

Arizona: Josh Jones – “My eyebrows raised when the Cardinals passed on an offensive tackle in Round 1 given how dire their need was at the position. But, Jones slid into the second round, and the Cardinals scooped him up in a hurry. The guy’s raw, but his athleticism and potential are elite. He has a shot to be the starting right tackle Week 1.” -Stoney Keeley

Carolina: Troy Pride, Jr. – Another corner that I love you especially at the spot Carolina got him. Pride was incredible at Notre Dame which showed more than ever in the couple of games he was injured. As soon as Pride left the field the Irish secondary  was immediately worse off. Pride brings speed, toughness and versatility to the panthers defense. -John Mosley

Tennessee: Kristian Fulton – “A speedy cornerback was exactly what the Titans defense needed, and that’s exactly what they got in Fulton. I expected him to be the third corner off the board, but for whatever reason, he slid to the Titans in Round 2. Just an unbelievable value pick that gives the Titans an instant impact player in the secondary…something they’ll need to get over the Kansas City Chiefs hump.” -Stoney Keeley

Pittsburgh: Chase Claypool – He’s 6’4, 230 and ran a 4.42 forty so it’s no surprise that Big Ben is excited to have Claypool. He was a legit playmaker at Notre Dame with Ian Book who isn’t known for chucking the pigskin deep. That will change for Chase when he steps on the field with that gunslinger Ben Roethlisberger. -John Mosley

Los Angeles: K.J. Hill – “The Chargers cleaned up in this year’s draft, but grabbing Hill in the 7th round seems absurd. Hill reminds me a lot of Tajae Sharpe in his production, route-running, and dependability. They’ve got Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. They could’ve very well stolen their WR3 in Round 7.” -Stoney Keeley
